Happy Halloween! Or as one cute but awkward 10 year old-ish boy said when he trick or treated last night: "Happy HW". We had a little bee at our house again this year! Abby was much more enthusiastic about getting costumed than she was last year. Here she is getting ready to go to a pre-trick-or-treating neighborhood kiddo get together.

Superman on the other hand says "I'll fight crime later. What part of I'm hungry, crabby, and feeling kind of stuffy do you people not understand?" Little bee puts on a zen face and tunes out Superman's cries.

Abby holds Nate's hand/arm to make him feel better...

Later on in the evening Abigail takes a break between houses to experience the wonders of processed food and high fructose corn syrup. What is not evident in this photo is that she also ate part of the brown wrapper on the Reeses cup. When you've never had one before, you're not sure what they're supposed to taste like, right?

Ah, what could be sweeter? Big sis, little bro. Happiness squared.

But wait, it's not always rose petals and buttercups around here? The latest development is that Abigail, instead of whining/screaming and feeling sorry for herself when mama and papa are occupied with Nate (or dinner, etc), she gets very quiet and goes off and causes TROUBLE! It's like she got smarter overnight or something.

Abigail: a study in contrasts. A sweet perfect helper one minute (she LOVES helping to change diapers - we kid not! - especially poopy ones!). Lotion obsessed, marker wielding two year old terror the next minute.

Nate's eyes widen as he figures that it will probably be over a decade before he's bigger than Abigail. And you get the sense she already has plans for mischief.....
