Hard to keep up with the busy bees around here!  Luckily, some of our adventures from a recent visit from Grandma&Grandad and Uncle Dan, Aunt Anna and Walter have been documented here and here and here and here.

We pulled out the old pair of bear jammies tonight and surprised Nate .... he had only ever seen Abigail wear them before and seemed moderately impressed that they were wearing the same pjs.

winery visit

A couple of weekends ago we drove to a nearby winery where they are very kid-friendly (juice boxes upon arrival!).  (Dog-friendly too which made Nate's day to see so many doggies.)
But first, before we got there we drove by these horses!  WOW!

When we were ready to go, it seemed like this horse wanted to come with us!

At the winery, Abigail and Nate played a few games of Corn Hole.  Abigail has grown a lot since the last time we visited this winery!

We had our pizza lunch.

Played for a while, and then headed home.  On the way home we smelled a skunk - this is the part of the outing that Abigail is still talking about.

 

easter weekend

Abigail LOVED the easter egg hunt at our neighbors' house!

And it is possible that Nate LOVED the egg hunt even MORE!  After it was over we just hid and re-hid his same eggs over and over and he never got tired of this game.

Nate hanging with the neighborhood preschool / toddler posse.  The bigger pre-schoolers were in the basement snacking and playing and watching Dora!

View from my room of other rooms - make sure you close your windows when you're sleeping or out of your room so you don't need to use the emergency button to let the lodge staff know that there is wildlife in your room!
