Big Boy Bed! From full on crib mode to full on twin mode.  The first week is going well...and after a few mornings of early wake ups snoozy dude is back to sleeping in most mornings. First pic is when we set up the bed last weekend. Second pic is real-time nap scene.

There are moments as parents when you realize there is a stuffed animal panda hung by its neck from a doorknob inside your home .... and you have no idea how long it has been there.

Can't believe we haven't shared pictures of our newest family member with our blog audience .... Meet Swimmer. He's a fish. He's blue. And he's pretty laid back (so far!). Abby and Nate are Swimmer's biggest fans. Mama and Papa like him too.

It's a bummer when you are on the metro early enough to see the sunrise, but a scene like this makes it better.

Busy weekend here and beautiful weather. First soccer practice for both kids, and picnic dinners out at local parks both evenings with friends (one new local park has a neat splash park).

Also, since it is always fun to look back at what we were up to in previous years ... a few flashbacks to past Septembers ...

One week shy of five AND A HALF.
Wakes up early and is ready to go.
Is pretty pumped about kindergarten.
Can't wait to have a loose tooth.
Ate three pieces of toast with strawberry jam for breakfast this morning.
Is growing out her bangs.
Loves to "write in cursive".
