When the weather forecast for the last day of school is not too summery, we hit up the civic club the day *before* the last day of school because the sun is out. ☀️ Dessert on the dock + eagle sighting when it buzzed and flew right over our heads. Luckily, Abby was already taking selfies of her self and quickly and semi-gracefully pivoted to non-selfie mode to take some eagle pics.

We had such a good time at The Gorge with our buddies Laurie, Ellie, and Bob.  Brandi Carlile rocked, and it is hard to imagine a more beautiful place to hear great music.  Sarah McLachlan and Lucius were excellent too!

 A rousing Pops Concert for a final hurrah for band this year!  6th, 7th, and 8th grades all played songs and then one big grand finale together (Back to the Future).  And Abby was one of four 8th graders to get a "Director's Award" for being all around awesome.  Yay Abbs!
