After Yakima we met up with buddies in Suncadia where we found less snow than we had hoped for but still had lots of fun hot tubbing, playing games, Zelda-ing (June & Nate), eating good food, taking walks, glice skating, making a snow-woman, hanging by the fire, and sitting on enormous furniture in our giant rental house. And a beautiful drive home.

antiquing
Abby's new favorite shop: antique store in Cle Elum. We made one purchase - the beautiful blue dress (hand sewn!). Also I couldn't help but think about this recent NPR story on mob wife aesthetic when Abby was trying on vintage furs.
yakima
We had a great visit in Yakima. We stayed at a super sweet AirBNB house, built in 1896, but we somehow didn't take any photos! It happened to be less than a mile away from Emily Montgomery's childhood home, so we had to go sneak a peek. For the rest of our time in Yakima it was fun to wonder if Em had seen this / been here in the years before we both arrived at our 4th Burton dorm room freshman year at Carleton. I wish a million zillion times over that she and I could debrief on Yakima now (and so many other things).

| The next morning we dropped Nate off at Jr All State Band at 8am for his all-day rehearsal! At Davis High School (where Montgome went to high school). |

| Abby and I then explored Yakima - this was a cool coffeeshop in the old downtown Yakima train station waiting room. |

shelf project
Still getting some of the shelf decor figured out, but loving the new built in shelving! Before shot at the bottom.
