Solstice snow last night (and accompanying power outage from about 2:30pm-9:30pm). Glad to be warm and cozy this morning!

 Belated post with pics from last weekend .... gingerbread houses with Gramma Lynn!  Abby and Nate did some design work out of cardboard, we sent the templates to Lynn and she worked her magic and baked them up.  We cranked open the windows, put on our masks, and got to work decorating.  What a treat!

In case anyone is wondering, yes, the kittens love to climb the Christmas tree. 🎄 There is some urban myth circulating about putting orange peels under the tree and that the smell will keep cats away. Not Babka and Blizzard!
