guest blogger: abby

Guess who got a camera for Christmas?? Inspired by buddy Annabelle's forays into photography, Abigail got a kids digital camera from Santa!  WOW.  A few of the first photos below... A is still getting the hang of this...

Self portrait. New haircut.

keeping busy

Driving trains while watching them through the little peephole in the table.

Through the tunnel!

Proud Nate.

Drawing reindeer.

Big girl Abby ... 4 and 3/4.

Before (yet another) haircut today ... we are forever in pursuit of a haircut that keeps A's thick hair out of her face.

Reading and being "nice and cozy" on the porch.

december

December sure is going fast ... we have not been taking very many pics, but here are a few recent ones.  Two mischief makers, going on an "adventure".

Nate was carrying doll Betsy in the Ergo.

Watch out upstairs!

Fun with keys.

Concentration.

Fun wet Sunday with Walter!

Scootering.

A fine example of "parallel play"

nap

A scene from yesterday's sick day at home. Mommy, Abby, and Nate all have colds. Abby put Nate down for his "nap" and he was very well behaved. Maybe I should have let her be in charge of today's naptime which included a nearly unprecedented number of random requests from Nate (book, kleenex, blankie, penguin, etc)...also at Nate's family-teacher conference the other day they said he usually takes a nap at school but sometimes gets up and goes around to rub the other kids' backs just like the teachers do to help them fall asleep. Oh Natester.
