Super speedy and busy work trip to DC last week.  Did manage to sneak out of the conference for one session and visit a fave place that I miss. With some new additions since I was last there.

More August blog catch up ... we had so much fun with Meg, Ingrid & Claire!  Former neighbors and forever friends, we picked up right where we left off a year ago.  Looking forward to next summer already!

Super sleepover and when we woke up it was Nate's birthday, so Top Pot donuts were had by all!

And we ended up with a slogan that has some real staying power.  (Still up on the board several weeks later and shows no sign of going anywhere.)

Camping team celebrates dinner and fire and many laughs and a couple of skinned knees.

There was a swimming hole at the campground. Abby & Nate bravely jumped off a rock into the very chilly water ... all of the kids got super busy with sand/water engineering projects and building "hot tubs".

We had a great weekend camping with friends at Mt Rainier!  Started off with an ambitious hike to Crystal Lake ... kids rocked it.
