thanksgiving!

We had a delightful (and delicious) Thanksgiving with good buddies Georgia & Sophie and their family and friends!  Kiddos were thrilled to see these little turkeys made out of oreos and candy corn for dessert.

Abby was thrilled to dress up her life sized doll brother in these tiny pink high heels designed for a cute teddy bear.  Nate thought the whole experience was hilarious.

And then the next morning we zipped off to see the dolphins and fishies at the aquarium.  Much excitement.  Hard to tell whether children or parents were more exhausted by all of the morning activity.

winery visit

A couple of weekends ago we drove to a nearby winery where they are very kid-friendly (juice boxes upon arrival!).  (Dog-friendly too which made Nate's day to see so many doggies.)
But first, before we got there we drove by these horses!  WOW!

When we were ready to go, it seemed like this horse wanted to come with us!

At the winery, Abigail and Nate played a few games of Corn Hole.  Abigail has grown a lot since the last time we visited this winery!

We had our pizza lunch.

Played for a while, and then headed home.  On the way home we smelled a skunk - this is the part of the outing that Abigail is still talking about.

. . . has a new ride - scored off Craigs List just today . . . the handle flips back and forth so little Miss A can face her parents or the big world ahead of her . . . we like getting to chat with her as we stroll.

. . . is fully mobile - she can get herself to standing from pretty much any position now, no need to pull up on things anymore, and she can chase chase chase the cat!

. . . graduated to the BIG tub - Abigail loves taking advantage of every square inch of tub space...and has a blast with all of her fun bath toys . .. clean baby!
