acorn project

This was a fun project ... Color inside acorn lids with marker and then fill with glue and watch the color bleed into the glue and the glue eventually dry up. Fun!

bunnies

A recent work of art from Abby -- entitled "bunneis evrware" or "bunnies everywhere".

Watch out for the bunnies!

sunday

Wish the weekend would stick around for a few more days!

weekending

Beautiful weather. Preschool picnic, painting play dates, playground visits.

eating

Dinner out with G&G!

reading

Nate and G&G reading some Thomas stories....

nate + bike

Nate does love to ride his bike. He has a need for speed and doesn't always watch where he's going. We're working to moderate both of these tendencies. For now every Sunday we take advantage of the road that closes to car traffic and zoom along with frequent shouts to Nate to "keep your eyes on the road!!"

cheers

Parents need an after-kids-bedtime moment of relaxation sometimes. Grapefruit, gin, lime, and sparkling water.

choo choo

How is it possible we haven't documented Nate's room on the blog lately? It is where he spends most of his playtime at home.  All photos above taken by Nate except for the first two.

quiet

Ode to conflict free quiet reading time. How we do love thee.
