We had a slow poke morning getting out the door for school this morning...these two made a "bed" to lie in by the front door and monitor the sky, dogs, trash/recycling trucks, and neighbors.

Snuggles under Nate's new big-boy quilt.  That's right ... at age nearly-2.5 Nate has graduated from the sleep sack.  He's still comfy (and contained) in the crib, though will surely be excited to one day have a bigger bed to bounce around in.

Nate and mommy joined Abby's preschool class for snack time and circle time this morning. He likes hanging out with the big kids!

Little do these little cherubs know, but their parents snuck out to a movie last night while they were sleeping, thanks (many, many thanks) to a gracious, spontaneous, much appreciated babysitting offer by Auntie Clare!  Yayyyy!

Look what mommy found when she got home from work today .... two little monkeys (and Snoopy too).

It's work travel month here.  Mommy had a trip to Boston last week, Papa is in Princeton now, Mommy to NYC on Thursday, then Mommy is off to Aspen next week, then Papa to Boulder.  When mommy and papa find themselves simultaneously in different parts of Colorado, Grandma will come to the rescue and hang out with these two little love bugs who love her very much.  We are rooting for good behavior and sound sleeping.

First joint bath chez nous - much fun:

Abigail was very excited about sharing the tub and helping to wash Nate's feet.

You'd never know it from his (lack of) facial expression, but Nate was feeling mischievous! He kicked his feet and splashed Abby! Hey!
