spy note

Just found this note in one of Abby's many "spy notebooks". She's going to be an artist-spy when she grows up. This note says: "Watch out cold going around. Kleenexes overflowing my trash can. Stuffy nose. Lots of kleenexes on floor."

This note from Abby was hanging on the front door when we got home on Friday. "Nate not listening to Bertha."

Bertha, our nanny, had a more detailed story to tell of the day's events.

what's abby up to?

In case anyone was wondering what Abby is up to these days ... she's been very busy writing and drawing.  Please don't offer to spell words anymore. She prefers HER spelling.  A few examples:

"Bees can fly" (and something else in the lower left hand corner I can't remember what it says)

"This is a fish"

"Butterfly"

She's got first and middle name down.  Spelling of last name proves to be a bit more challenging.  Butterflies she did draw all by herself!

"Brontosaurus dinosaur"

"Ladybugs buzz and fly and have legs"

"A poisonous cricket" (and below, another attempt at last name spelling)

At Nate's request ... a "dump truck"
