PS - this is an old cell phone that doesn't work anymore - we are encouraging A to use this one after she successfully speed dialed our home phone while playing with mommy's real cell phone.

Abigail has a new toy stroller, and she is so busy taking care of Tigger and her other pals, putting them in and taking them out of the stroller, and pushing them all around the house.

Papa had just returned from errands and the back of the car was so spacious and inviting, Abigail had to take a look.

Spring is here! Abigail wants to spend every minute of every springy day outside....who can blame her? It looks like it's going to be a great year for azaleas....

Hey, where did Abigail go?

We're eating outside whenever possible...here we are waiting for dinner to arrive. Our finger puppet friends even came along.

Action shot....helpful papa puts lovey's shoe back on while A keeps an eye out for birdies and trains and other things that we could see from our table at the restaurant.

You can't tell from this picture, but Abigail's dress has two pockets, and in each one of those pockets is a little pink bunny from Great Aunt Jennifer - a recent gift and a new fave of Miz A. It's not just Uncle Dan and Aunt Anna who love pockets....oh no....Abigail does too. (Also, A has a post-dinner messy face - we missed some spots in the mop-up - oops.)

Maybe if I crouch over like this the bunnies will hop out of my pockets?

the nose knows

Abigail's flower-loving sniffer sure is getting a workout these days - there are flowers EVERYWHERE.

What's a girl to do, but sniff and sniff some more? (New pink bunny from Great Aunt Jennifer came along for the walk this morning - he/she is not as good of a sniffer as Abigail is.)

Um, speaking of noses, we think a little spinach may have escaped from the quesadilla and made its way onto A's nose.

Abigail contemplates the task before her - a plate full of waffles and blueberries and strawberries.

Mission accomplished. Clean plate club!

Also, Abigail is soon to be a member of the "molar club" - there is a little tip of tooth poking through where her gums have been so puffy for days. She has been getting lots of sympathy and strawberry sorbet to make up for the ouchies these darn teeth are causing.

Guess what Abigail found inside her plastic eggs on Easter???

Cheerios! They make a fun noise when shaken inside plastic eggys, and they are fun to eat too.

"What's this you say about chocolate eggs?" Maybe next year . . .

Then it was off to explore in her pretty dress!

Later on, sporting a new outfit, Abigail plays some more!

. . . has a new ride - scored off Craigs List just today . . . the handle flips back and forth so little Miss A can face her parents or the big world ahead of her . . . we like getting to chat with her as we stroll.

. . . is fully mobile - she can get herself to standing from pretty much any position now, no need to pull up on things anymore, and she can chase chase chase the cat!

. . . graduated to the BIG tub - Abigail loves taking advantage of every square inch of tub space...and has a blast with all of her fun bath toys . .. clean baby!

One satisfied customer. Abigail's word for breakfast is "yum yum" . . . which we unfortunately did not capture her saying on video, but you can just imagine......

Sometimes we feel like Abigail's outfits should have names . . . this one would be "purple day"..... Here she is celebrating purple day with her best buds: polar bear, tigger, and pooh (in mouth).

"Oh hi papa, didn't see you over there. Check out how I'm holding all of my friends at once."

"No mommy... I want Pooh bear in my mouth."

"Finally, my buddies and I are left to our own devices."

Ah, purple day.

Later on, Abigail demonstrates her multi-sensory smelling talents again, by getting her tongue awfully close to mommy's bday flowers.....

blossoms, year 2

Abigail went to see the cherry blossoms! She saw them last year too, but we're guessing she doesn't remember that.... Here we are starting our walk.

As of this weekend, we could summarize Abigail's favorite things into a few categories: 1) doggies, 2) flowers, and 3) birdies. Luckily, our cherry blossom visit included lots of all three! Here's Abigail positioning for a better view.
