So much fun with the cat costume that Grandma found for Abigail.  It's purrrrrrfect.

PS - do you ever wonder what we were up to 1 year ago, 2 years ago, and 3 years ago?  We do!  Enjoy Flashback Monday!

fall back ... again???

Daylight savings time sets in and we find ourselves swinging at the playground...

...pulling Mommy's hair....

...kicking buddy Achilles' soccer ball...

... spending some quality time in the Kitchen Helper...

...Nate kept himself busy eating frozen peas and cheerios the whole time it took Mommy to make dinner - GO NATE! ....

... the "candy fairy" came and took all of Abigail's Halloween candy away and left a cool new coloring book and markers in exchange.  CandyFairy is saving the candy for next year, looks like Tinkerbell, has a quiet voice, and is very very nice if Abigail happens to ask you about her....

Nate can think of nothing he'd rather do than squeeze into Abigail's chair with her and help her color!  "Yes please!!" he says!

Some sweet smiles right before Nate tried to grab something that BELONGS TO ABIGAIL and a fleeting moment of extreme sadness passed over this jolly scene!

Happy Halloween everyone!  Abigail was a great bunny and had a fun time in costume at school today, and then trick or treating this evening!
  

Nate has learned Abigail's squinty-eyed camera smile!  Oh no!  Bunny and Kermit the frog were a great pair tonight.

Oh faithful blog readers, thanks for sticking with us as posts are few and far between... things have been busy around here!  Mommy went to Oregon last weekend to see Dee Dee and Pop Pop! Grandma and Grandad were there too, and so was Aunt Jennifer, Emily, Adam, Stephanie, and Ben.  Papa held down the fort at home with these two little mischief makers....oh adventures!  
Abigail not only gets dressed by herself now, she also does her own hair. Can you tell?

Nate is not walking yet, but does love to climb things.  Here he dares us to try to take a picture of him where he is not blurry and in motion....

Halloween spoiler alert!  Abigail is going to be a bunny....she tried on the whole ensemble today....  Last year, Abigail learned about trick-or-treating and got her first taste of candy..and she is looking forward to a repeat performance this year!

Good old Nate!  He's getting over a bad cold, but seems to be chirping up a little today...despite the sniffles, Natester remains a jolly dude.  Thanks for the cute halloween jammies Grandma!

Nate has started making vroom vroom car noises....a dissertation could be written (and surely has) about the innate gender differences between boys and girls as exhibited at very young ages....

Welcome to the kitchen helper stool Nate!  Abigail was just a little bit older when we first got this handy stool and she still uses it every day. We'll see how the era of "sharing the stool" goes....
